High DHA Levels Linked to Lower Dementia Risk
Relatively higher blood plasma levels of the omega 3 fatty acid, docosahexaenoic acid (DHA) are associated with a lowered risk of dementia.1 A recent research study, affiliated with the Framinham Heart Study, followed 899 patients for a period of 9 years. Researchers found a 47% reduction in dementia from all causes and a 39% reduction in Alzheimer's Disease among the patients who had plasma DHA levels in the upper 25% of all those studied. The subset showing the lowered risk averaged 3 fish meals per week. Another omega 3 fatty acid, EPA, did not show a protective effect.
Comment: People in the study who showed lowered risk obtained DHA from eating fish. It is possible that taking fish oil supplements may also provide protection. Because some fish oil supplements may be contaminated with mercury or pesticides, selecting a quality supplement is important. Nordic Naturals is a high quality manufacturer of pharmaceutical grade fish oils. One of their products, ProDHA, has higher concentrations of DHA. It comes in strawberry flavor, which adds a pleasant aroma. It has no fishy after taste or odor.

FDA Panel Recommends Black Box Warning On ADHD Drugs
The Drug Safety and Risk Management Advisory Committee of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) voted to recommend a "black Box" warning on stimulant drugs used for attention deficit, hyperactivity disorder (ADHD). Examples of such drugs are Adderall, Ritalin, Concerta, Methylin and Metadate. Safety concerns of the FDA committee focused on the cardiovascular side effects of the drugs. A review of data by the committee revealed that ADHD drugs may have caused 25 deaths and 54 serious cardiovascular events during 1999 to 2003. Medical problems observed were: stroke, high blood pressure, abnormal heart rhythms, and heart attacks.
Citing action by the FDA against the stimulant herb, Ma hung (ehpedra) and the over the counter decongestant phenylpropanolamine (PPA), panel member Steven Nissen MD suggested that an equivalent standard apply to ADHD drugs. According to a commentary in the New England Journal of Medicine, "Although the committee recognized that there are important potential benefits of these drugs for certain highly dysfunctional children, we rejected the notion that the administration of potent sympathomimetic agents to millions of Americans is appropriate. We sought to emphasize more selective and restricted use, while increasing awareness of potential hazards. We argued that the FDA should act soon and decisively." 1 The FDA has not yet acted on the committee's recommendation.

I wanted to tell you how much I love your Cryo Gel. I have worked for a tire company for over 25 years as a tire builder, which is an extremely physical job. The last few years it has become even more demanding since our company changed to what is called the 2-2-3 type shift work. The days I work are all 12 hours long. As a tire builder my hands, elbows and upper and lower back always stays tired. My muscles seem to stay torn down and I am in pain most of the time due to the repetitious movements involved in tire building. Cryo Gel has become my "dear friend" for aches and pains as I build and especially at night after the long day is over. I truly believe I would have experienced carpal tunnel in both my wrists and possibly torn muscles in my back had it not been for your Cryo Gel. I have tried all the other well known rubs and none of them penetrate like Cryo Gel, have the pain relief I need, or last as long when applied. Thank you for such a powerful pain relieving product. I just know my life is different because of it.
Mike, Arkansas
One of my friends gave me a jar of Cryo Gel to try during a baseball game. As a pitcher, I expect a lot our of my throwing arm on and off the field. I started using Extreme Cryo Gel after I pitched to ease the pain , stiffness and speed up the recovery time so I could play again the next day. I now use Extreme Cryo Gel before my games to help loosen up my shoulder. Cryo Gel is part of my game plan. I recommend it to everyone. Thanks!
Chad, Ok
I use the Cryo Gel morning and evening on my lower back. I have osteoarthritis in my two lower vertebrae that creates constant pain. I need the Cryo Gel to keep the pain at a minimum and soothe the muscles in that area.

"This REALLY works on migraines, both my daughter and I get them frequently and this is a great relief. Thanks"
